Photography Exhibit by Mark Brandhorst

Town: Norway
Type: Exhibit
Norway Memorial Library is currently exhibiting photography by local artist and photographer Mark Brandhorst. The display includes 16 photographs that were taken in Maine, Utah and Grand Manan. Mark says “I live in South Paris neighboring a small mountain and a pond. I love where I live. A lot of my time is spent outdoors. My daily walks take me up the side of the mountain and around the pond. Sharing the wonders of nature is a passion for me. In person, through sculpture or photography, they all give me a chance to introduce what I see to others. A bit of travel inspires me to bring home my experiences and hopefully represent them in a way that captures the emotion of the place. I love form and movement and try to express them through photographs. Digital photography makes it easier to freeze these moments.” This exhibit will be remain at the library through April and may be seen anytime the library is open. For more information please call 743-5309 or visit the library’s website at www.norway.lib.me.us.
